Research focuses on using the approach of agroecology for a case study of the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services on agricultural land in the Central Okanagan, BC. A natural wildlife corridor that spans an area from Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park to Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park has been identified as an area of critical priority for conservation efforts, as it contains many sensitive ecosystems (eg. Grasslands) and species at risk in the Okanagan.
